Chiropractic Education Requirements

Dr. Gonzzo Watson, D.C.

Dr. Watson began his chiropractic journey as a chiropractic patient himself.  During his adolescence he suffered with headaches for several years.  When he was living in San Diego, at the age of eighteen he went to see John Holmes, D.C.  To his amazement, the headaches he suffered with for years were gone after just a few chiropractic adjustments.  From that personal experience he decided to be a chiropractor himself.

Dr. Watson married in San Diego, California, at twenty years of age.  At twenty-two, Dr. Watson and his wife Nina, traveled all the way to Davenport, Iowa, so he could attend Palmer College of Chiropractic.  Palmer College is known as the "Fountainhead of Chiropractic", as it is the oldest and largest chiropractic college in the world.

After Dr. Watson graduated in 1994, he traveled to Jacksonville, Illinois, where he practiced in a partnership.  Shortly thereafter, his son Garrett was born.   In 1996 Dr. Watson and his family moved to Portland, Oregon, where he began a solo practice in Lake Oswego.  After outgrowing the Lake Oswego clinic he moved to a larger facility in West Linn where he currently practices.
